Wardrobe Goals: How a Bare Bedroom Recess Became a Showcase Closet

Brief & Challenge

A bedroom recess, once home to sliding wardrobe doors, sat unused after remedial work. The homeowner supplied a hand-drawn sketch for a stylish, open wardrobe that offered multi-zone organisation and looked good on display. The requirement: deliver paint-ready joinery with lighting, drawers, and shelves.

What We Did

We engineered a custom MDF wardrobe with LED-lit rails and soft-closing hardware.

  • Built three hanging bays.
  • Installed two sets of four oversized drawers with Häfele Alto Slim runners.
  • Constructed three cubbyholes for bulk storage.
  • Added three shelves for shoes.
  • Fitted LED hanging rails and strip lighting.
  • Supplied raw MDF carcass for homeowner to paint.
